I've been practicing yoga for a very long time.  I instantly felt at home on my mat and it brings me a sense of peace and joy.  Over the years, I've attended several different classes and practiced at home as well.

When I was going through a very difficult season of life, my yoga practice became part of my healing journey.  It was a way for me to work through emotions and allow my body, mind and spirit to be cared for. 

I felt called to go to yoga teacher training (YTT) and, at the time, I had no idea if I'd be teaching or if it was something I was doing for myself.  I chose to attend Lakshmi Rising in Costa Rica for my 200 hour YTT..  We were immersed in the jungle for 3 weeks of intense training.  In addition to learning more about all aspects of yoga, it was also a deep personal healing and growth experience for me.

Upon returning, I began to teach friends and loved it! I enjoy continuing to grow in my own yoga practice, create sequences and share yoga with others.
